French Authority Investigates EasyJet Takeoff Incident

The Bureau of Enquiry and Analysis for Civil Aviation Safety (Bureau d’Enquêtes et d’Analyses pour la sécurité de l’aviation civile), a French investigative body, is looking into what it believes to have been a “serious” incident with a takeoff performed by budget carrier easyJet for a flight from Seville, Spain to Gatwick Airport (LGW).

Neither the agency nor the carrier have commented on the nature of the “serious” incident, which allegedly involved an “error in take-off performance calculation.”
