French Air-Traffic Control Strike: Hundreds of Flights Cancelled

Tens of thousands of airline passengers have had their flights cancelled as the newest wave of French air traffic control strikes takes hold.

The strike began hours ago at 5PM GMT and is scheduled to continue until the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Ryanair, already under fire for a rash of thousands of cancellations has added 220 more flights to the list, affecting about 40,000 passengers.
