Four Seasons Is Getting A (New) Private Jet

Four Seasons Is Getting A (New) Private Jet
Scott Dylan

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is taking the good life to the next level. The luxury hotel brand plans to unveil a new private jet in 2021. Four Seasons will fly its guests around using a new A321LR aircraft that will replace the current aircraft that is used. The Four Seasons Private Jet product debuted in 2015. It allows travelers to enjoy top-tier, high-luxury travels to places like Bora Bora, Prague, Kyoto, Paris and more. Four Seasons definitely thinks that its new jet is big news. However, the average traveler probably won’t care all that much about the new jet once they learn that a ticket costs almost $150,000.

Four Seasons is claiming that its new jet will offer more luxury than its current jet. In addition, the brand is planning to add more features that will create a more pampered and interactive flight experience for customers. The new A321LR boasts the tallest and widest cabin in its class. Four Seasons is also designing its new jet to feature a large lounge area where guests can socialize. There will even be room for a stage where artisans can show off their talents and host interactive workshops. Guests can hang out with wellness experts, chefs and certified mixologists.

Seating will be pretty limited on the new Four Seasons Private Jet. The aircraft will feature just 48 seats. These custom-designed seats have been created exclusively for Four Seasons by Optimares. The seats will feature Italian leather from Poltrona Frau. The new jet is being designed to encourage social time among guests. This is evident in specially designed personal ottomans that make it easy to enjoy face-to-face exchanges and socialize during each journey. Four Seasons is also expanding the size and layout of the jet’s lavatories to create a more residential vibe and extra flexibility.

Food is definitely going to be one of the important features of the new Four Seasons Private Jet. The jet will have a large gallery area where chefs can provide meals. It has been revealed that Four Seasons is actually giving chefs a lot of freedom when it comes to designing menus that reflect the journey that is being had. What’s more, chefs will apparently be allowed to whip up spur-of-the-moment treats as they please. It is yet to be determined whether that is a good thing or a bad thing.

Four Seasons is really stocking its private jet full of staff members. There will be an executive chef, a concierge, a director of guest experience, a physician and a flight crew.

Where can you go in the all-new Four Seasons Jet?

The 2021 itineraries for the aircraft have not been revealed yet. However, Four Seasons is promising to debut the new itineraries at some point during 2019.

“The new jet is being designed to encourage social time among guests….Four Seasons is also expanding the size and layout of the jet’s lavatories…”

Rich retirees joining the mile high club?

I can’t be the only one who found this entire article hilarious. I have zero interest in flying on this plane. I’d rather buy a first class ticket and not be subjected to kitschy inflight shows. Oh, and “tallest and widest cabin in its class” is like saying the tallest penguin at the zoo. Come on…it’s a narrow-body plane!
