FlyerTalk Partners With Kids First Fund For “Auction of the Weird & Wild”

The 11th annual Kids First Auction includes airline tickets, hotel vouchers, and one-of-a-kind experiences around the world.

Travelers looking for that one-of-a-kind experience can get ready to start bidding, with the money raised supporting children’s causes around the world. The 11th annual Kids First Auction, sponsored by FlyerTalk, will open the final round of auctions on May 25, featuring the “Auction of the Wild and Weird.”

Teaming with Viator.com, the “Auction of the Wild and Weird” features a number of unique experiences for thrill seekers around the world. Featured auctions include one hour at the heavy equipment playground in Las Vegas, a bike tour of the world’s most dangerous road in La Paz, Bolivia and a helicopter tour of the Franz Josef Glacier in New Zealand.

In addition to the experiences, a number of our travel partners have also jumped in on the fun, offering a number of bonuses. Exclusive items include hotel vouchers for stays at Best Western and Tune Hotels, car rental vouchers from Avis and Budget Rent a Car, as well as airfare vouchers on Icelandair and Southwest Airlines. Those who prefer miles can bid on bonus certificates for Air Berlin Topbonus miles, Delta Air Lines Skymiles, or Spirit Airlines’ Spirit Miles.

All money raised will directly support the Kids First Fund. Based in the U.S., the Kids First Fund works to protect abused children in developing nations. Previous projects completed by the charity include a women and children’s shelter in Latvia for victims of domestic abuse. The charity will pledge every dollar raised towards projects directly benefiting children around the world.

The next round of the 11th annual Kids First Auction will open on May 22, while the current round will close on May 25. For more information or to see the items available for bidding, visit www.kidsfirstauction.com.
