Flyer Locks Self in Lav After Denied Beer

Thirty-two-year-old Luke Thomas Watts was arrested after locking himself in the lavatory of an Alaska Airlines flight and screaming because he wasn’t served a beer by flight staff. Watts was charged on Tuesday with one count of interference with flight crew members and attendants, and a plea of Not Guilty was entered on his behalf. Watts allegedly made “express and implied” threats of physical violence toward flight attendants because he was not served a beer, eventually demanding that the flight attendants give him a hug, which flight attendants feared could be an act of physical violence, according to the indictment. A formal trial date has been set for July.

you can't lock yourself in a lav, they can be unlatched from the outside.
