Flyer Attempts to Pass Security With a Lighter in His Mouth

A passenger has been temporarily suspended from flying after he attempted to sneak a lighter by security using what authorities are calling his “oddly-shaped mouth.”

The man, who has also been fined 1,000 yuan ($156), was making his way toward his assigned gate at Kunming Changshui International Airport (KMG) in China when airport authorities honed in on his reportedly suspicious demeanor.

The passenger allegedly remained silent when questioned, and it wasn’t until he was forced to drink water that his secret was revealed.

This was more dangerous than most realize. You can make something the USA used in WWII that is very dangerous but it can not be ignited by a match or normal fire. You need something hotter and a lighter can get you up to the hotter temperature quickly. I omitted several steps and items in my post for safety but all the items are easily available everywhere . I hope alarm bells are going off at TSA etc. and they are studying this incident.

Weird guy, i kept getting fed up with them stealing my lighters at CEB, I just started hiding them between my phone and tablet, the machines have never picked them up yet and I still see others having to hand them over

Only in china ... I love that. Any person attempting to deceive a security check should be banned flying.
