Fly Jamaica Crew Member Busted With 9 Lbs of Cocaine

A crew member aboard a Fly Jamaica Airways flight was arrested for attempting to smuggle cocaine into the United States.

The cocaine was discovered, according to a statement from the US Customs and Border Protection, when the crew member was escorted into a private search room at JFK International Airport in New York.

And they may have done it after someone reported that there was something strange about the way he was walking. When the crew member pulled down his pants, federal agents discovered nine pounds of cocaine secured to his legs with white tape.

The cocaine, which has a reported street value of $160,000, was seized.
