Flight Returns to Sydney Due to Hole in Engine

On Sunday, China Eastern Flight MU736 was forced to return to Sydney, Australia after the flight’s pilot detected engine problems and passengers aboard the flight noticed a burning smell, both of which were due to a technical issue that punched a hole through an engine casing. No injuries were reported as a result of the malfunction, and the flight landed safely at Sydney Airport (SYD). Aviation personnel are reportedly assessing the cause of the hole.
