Flight Forced to Make Emergency Landing After Flap Gets Stuck

Several passengers aboard JetBlue flight 2020 allegedly fell ill after the aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing Sunday when one of its flaps became stuck due to a mechanical issue.

The Embraer ERJ-190 jet flying from Florida to Massachusetts  made its landing at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), though not before the pilot circled for 10 minutes – which caused passengers to become nauseous – in making the decision to divert. The airline has since apologized for the incident and offered the passengers a $50 credit.

Seriously? Once I circled over MSP for 30 minutes in storm-approaching-thunderstorm conditions. The only thing I felt was unease because my connection time was shrinking with ever lap in the hold.
