Flight Diverted Following Threat

After an alleged anonymous threat was made to an Air France flight leaving San Francisco for Paris Tuesday, the aircraft was diverted to Montreal as a precautionary measure.

According to reports, passengers onboard Flight 83 deplaned with several hours after landing – after the aircraft had been met by 15 fire trucks and police vehicles and a thorough search was conducted – and Air France said an investigation will be launched into the matter. The airline would not comment on the details of the threat.
