Flight Deal: Fly All-Business Class to Europe for $1,400 Roundtrip

If you’ve ever wanted to see Europe in the winter, La Compagnie might have the right ticket for you at a good price. FlyerTalkers found $1,400 round-trip tickets per person aboard the all-business class airline, reflecting seasonal discounts of up to $600 for travel between November 2019 and February 2020.

Flyers looking for a getaway during the 2019 holiday season may have a great opportunity if they book soon. FlyerTalker zoonil found a great deal for holiday travel between Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to Paris Orly Airport (ORY).

While the original deals were under $1,000, current deals are trending around $1,400 for travel during November and December 2019 aboard La Compagnie, the all-business class airline. The dates we found include weekend dates in November 2019, early December 2019, and all weekends in January and February 2020.

Although the pricing isn’t under $1,000, the prices are still good compared to trans-Atlantic airfare for the season. According to Google Flights, fares are comparatively lower for the season. Over Thanksgiving, the La Compagnie flights are around $600 lower, while all other flights trend towards the lowest side of the normal spectrum.

What is it like flying an airline promising all-business-class seats on their aircraft? It depends on what aircraft you get. According to FlyerTalker hblanton, the company’s Boeing 757 aircraft “were not quite flat bed, but very comfy none the less,” with questionable in-flight entertainment and “adequate” onboard meals.

Other flyers had similar experiences with the Boeing 757 aircraft, but noted it was an overall pleasant experience. “The [757] planes are a bit tired, but the service was good and we were on time in both directions,” writes flywithmiles70 on the forums. “You can’t beat the price we paid of $1,700 to sit in business class even though it’s not totally lie flat.”

But aboard the new Airbus A321neos operated by La Compagnie, the experience is “much better.” “Other than not having direct aisle access the seats are excellent, and the screens large…They also now have free wifi the whole way,” hblanton notes on the forums.
