Firefighters Called to Extinguish LHR Runway Fire

This morning, two fire engines were dispatched to the runway of Heathrow Airport (LHR) because of reports of a burning smell onboard a British Airways plane. An additional third fire engine was sent to the site of the incident.

The aircraft was reportedly parked on the runway at the time of the incident without any passengers or crew onboard. No injuries have been reported.
