Fired Pilot Sentenced for Wearing Old Uniform to Avoid Security
A former Cathay Pacific Airways pilot received three years’ probation in a Honolulu federal court Thursday after he wore his old uniform to evade security at Honolulu International Airport (HNL). Joshu Osmanski plead guilty last year to the charges and requested one year of probation, citing an alleged head injury he endured as a fighter pilot. Osmanski claims he wore the uniform and badge so he did not have to wait in line to remove his shoes.
