Finch Smuggler Busted at JFK

Police have confirmed that on March 3, a man was discovered by security at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to be smuggling 20 live finches through the airport. The finches were contained with several tube-shaped containers.

All 20 of the finches were confiscated and quarantined, and the man, a Guyanese national, was fined $300 and refused entry back into the United States.
