Fighter Jets Intercept Faltering Flight

Recently released video footage shows what appears to be two fighter jets flying on either side of a Boeing 777 after the flight lost its connection with air traffic control flying over Cologne.
The video, which was posted to Facebook by user CirrusPilot, contained the caption: “This incredible footage shows the German Air Force intercepting a Jet Airways 777-300ER bound for London (from Mumbai) yesterday after it failed to respond on the appropriate ATC frequencies.”

The article said it was a flight operated by British Airways and also it said Jet Airways. Can the media not even get one fact correct in the course of three or so lines? Do they ever proof read their own writing?
