FAA Implements New Safety Rules for 737 MAX

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is set to publish a rule Friday known as a “Special Condition” that sees new safety mandates for the Boeing 737 MAX that contain non-rechargeable lithium batteries.

The rule states that the company must show that any battery onboard the planes will maintain safe temperatures and pressures during all operating conditions.
