FA Altercation With Delta Pilot Delays LaGuardia Flight
On Monday, flights were delayed at LaGuardia Airport (LGA) after an altercation allegedly ensued between a Delta Air Lines pilot and a flight attendant just before the flight was about to depart for Portland, Maine. According to an alleged witness, the pilot “was racist, inconsiderate and unprofessional.”
A spokesperson for Endeavor Air, the subsidiary of Delta Air Lines that was operating the flight, released a statement:
“Endeavor Air apologizes to the customers on board Endeavor Air flight 3925, operating as Delta Connection, from LaGuardia to Portland, Maine whose travel was inconvenienced as a result of a disagreement between two crew members. The actions of these crew members, as described, in no way reflects the respect, values, and professionalism we expect from our employees,” the spokesman said.
