EU Airports: Prepare for a Very Long Wait

As part of what the European Commission calls “the price of security,” the group Airlines For Europe (A4E) has reported that airports across the European Union are experiencing more delays and longer waits for passengers in the wake of recent terror attacks.

“We understand that there are concerns about EU rules leading to longer waiting periods, but let us be very clear – this is about the security of our citizens,” said European Commission spokesperson Mina Andreeva.
