Etihad Bans Qatari Passengers From UAE Travel

Etihad Airways has confirmed that all flyers in possession of Qatari passports will be unable to travel to or from the United Arab Emirates aboard Etihad flights as per government policy. Additionally, all UAE citizens currently residing in Qatar have been banned from obtaining visas on arrival in the UAE.

“This ruling applies to all airlines flying into the UAE, including Etihad Airways,” said an Etihad spokesperson.

Qataris are not UAE nationals. Qatar is it's own country, and small piece of land bordering Saudi Arabia. Qatar is not part of the UAE

Why would a UAE nationals need a visa on arrival for their own country? I think this article has an error.
