Engineer Collaborates with Airport for Drone Runway

Dutch engineer Henk Hesselink has begun a collaboration with Valkenburg Airport (LID) to develop a circular runway ideal for drones. According to Hesselink, the idea behind the new runway would be to reduce noise pollution, minimize crosswind and maximize the airport’s use of space for drone aircraft.
