Emirates Runs A Sale with Fares Starting at $449 to Europe, Other Destinations

Emirates is running a sale on select fares, and you don’t want to miss these!

U.S. customers who are based in Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Los Angeles, New York City (JFK and Newark) and Orlando can find a deal to their liking on the Featured Fares list.

New York City to Milan for $449, to Athens for $559

The least expensive fares take you from John F. Kennedy International Airport to Milan for just $449 in economy class. This particular deal is valid for travel between Aug. 20 and Feb. 29, but the lowest fares seem to display between October and February.

To find the fares in a flash, head to Google Flights, select Emirates as your carrier of choice and click on the calendar. It’ll display the dates with the best prices in green, which saves you time when compared to performing the same search on the Emirates website.

Flights from Newark to Athens, Greece, are similarly priced at $559 for the same travel dates.

Chicago to Johannesburg for $789

Select African destinations are on sale as well, including flights to Johannesburg, South Africa; Cape Town, South Africa; and Nairobi, Kenya.

Take a look at this fare from Chicago to Johannesburg for $789 in economy class. Eligible travel dates are between Aug. 8 and April 30.

Houston to Mumbai for $819

The flight specials don’t stop there. Select Asian cities are included on the Featured Fares list, including Bangkok; New Delhi and Mumbai, India; Dhaka, Bangladesh; Singapore and Malé, Maldives, among others.

Houston-area residents can fly round-trip to Mumbai for $819 between Aug. 8 and April 30.

Certain business-class fares are on sale as well in the $3,300 to $4,999 range for a round-trip journey, depending on the city pair.

In Conclusion

If this airfare sale from Emirates coincides with your travel plans, it provides some significant savings. The Fifth Freedom routes from New York City to Europe look especially great, but other destinations on the list can be reached at a decided discount as well.

Don’t wait long, though. Fares expire on Aug. 4.

Looked at rates/schedules. Main problem is that virtually all routes listed require at least one layover making even a 15 hour n/s trip 20-25 hours.

OK did a search. All flites from either SFO or FLL (we are bicoastal) require at least one layover to all the spots we would want to visit. (India, Africa) adding 4-10 hours to the trip. We could leave from BOS (have children there) but didn't search that. Not worth a $300-$500 savings to add hours to a flite.
