Emirates reveals ‘Game Changer’ luxury suites for first class passengers traveling between Dubai and Vienna on-board its 777-300ER craft. These self-contained spaces are fully-enclosed and feature virtual windows and 40 square feet of space. They’ll be available on EK125 and EK126 on December 1st.
Emirates’ first class passengers traveling between Dubai and Vienna will soon be able to indulge in the carrier’s ‘Game Changer’ suites, the airline has announced. From December 1st, these luxury self-contained spaces will be a feature on-board the airline’s Boeing 777-300ER craft, which – along with the A380 – serve this particular route.
Describing its latest product in a statement, the carrier said, “With floor-to-ceiling sliding doors and sleek design features, Emirates’ new private suites on the Boeing 777 takes luxury and privacy to the next level. Offering up to 40 square feet of personal space each, these spacious, fully-enclosed private suites are laid out in a 1-1-1 configuration. The new suites were designed with customer comfort in mind as the seats recline into a fully flat bed and can be placed in a “zero-gravity” position inspired by NASA technology, giving a feeling of relaxation and weightlessness.”
“The aircraft also boasts the industry’s first virtual windows for suites located in the middle aisle. These virtual windows project the view from outside the aircraft using real time camera technology. In the other suites, binoculars are available for customers who want to explore the sky outside their windows. Customers in each suite can easily communicate with the cabin crew or request for room service through a new video call function,” it adds.
As of December, these suites will be available to first class passengers traveling on Emirates Flight EK125 and EK126. The former flight departs Dubai at 4:50 p.m. local time and arrives into Vienna at 8:00 p.m. local time while the latter flight departs from Vienna at 9:55 p.m. local time and arrives in Dubai at 6:35 a.m. the day after departure.
