Drivers Stuck in ATL Parking Garage Overnight
At Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), enormous backups in a parking garage led to a number of passengers allegedly being stuck in the structure overnight at the busy airport.
Factors for the congestion include a heavy amount of traffic as well as construction taking place at the airport’s north terminal.
The report comes from Atlanta’s WSB-TV, which claims that journalist Tom Regan was stuck there for hours during the heavy traffic.

When you read the full story, the airport management basically takes no responsibility for creating and maintaining a broken system, their response: "don't drive to the airport..." That is totally unacceptable for a "world class airport" and its time for Delta to flex its muscle, maybe make some inquiries into other nearby regional airports such as PDK, or North Cobb and move some traffic that way.... Considering that airport management created a sub-par infrastructure that caused a TOTAL black-out just a few months ago.... Take the airport away from City of Atlanta Govt. and get the state Govt. involved and maybe this airport might be able to grow and remain competitive with other global airports...Atlanta can't hold a candle to what is happening in places like ICN, CAN, HKG, DXB, DOH...A new canopy over the departures drop-off doesn't make a world class terminal...
