Dozing Flyer Wakes Up, Urinates on Seatmates

A man who was aboard a JetBlue flight from Anchorage to Portland Friday is facing charges of criminal mischief and offensive littering after allegedly urinating on other passengers.

Jeff Rubin, 27, had reportedly been sleeping for most of Flight 47. About 30 minutes prior tolanding at Portland International Airport (PDX), Rubin allegedly stood up and began peeing between a crack in the seats directly in front of him.

According to reports, Rubin lost his balance while he was peeing, causing other passengers, luggage and seats to come in contact with his urine. He then fell back asleep only to be woken up by Port of Portland Police upon landing.

Rubin spent about 5 hours in jail before he was released on his own recognizance.
