Don’t Miss Hilton’s 72-Hour Winter Sale

Hilton Honors is joining their competition in offering a sale not for “Black Friday,” but for 72 hours instead. Their Winter sale offers up to a 50% discount at select hotels in Japan, South Korea and the American territory Guam.

In the spirit of the Thanksgiving season, Hilton Honors is throwing a special sale – just don’t call it a “Black Friday” deal. Only until Nov. 29, 2019, the hotel chain is throwing a “72 Hour Winter Sale” for hotels located in Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Guam.

The Not a Black Friday “72 Hour Winter Sale” Deal

The deal is available at participating hotels in the four destinations, for stays between Nov. 26, 2019 and June 30, 2020. Blackout dates may apply, based on availability and specific hotels. Finally, the deals are only available to Hilton Honors members–which is a free program to join.

What kind of deals can travelers look forward to? On the Hilton website, we found deals at the Millennium Hilton Seoul advertised for $95 per night, reflecting a 50% discount. While FlyerTalkers rank it lower than other luxury hotels in the area, its location and convenience make it central to seeing the modern city.

For those who don’t have a passport, the Hilton Guam Resort and Spa also offers a 50% discount for select dates, with prices as low as $92 per night. FlyerTalkers previously called this resort an “excellent property with a great staff.”

Is It a Good Deal?

The great part of the Hilton Honors 72 Hour Winter Sale is the 50% off hotel stays at participating hotels in Asia. Anytime you can get half-off, you’re getting a great deal.

However, the smaller stay window and focus on just four Asian desinations truly doesn’t make this a “Black Friday” special. For those who are planning on visiting the Far East in 2020, these hotel deals can offer a great discount–but it only works if you are visiting those destinations.
