Disgusting New “Logging” Craze Makes Vacationers Ill

Think “logging” is what brawny, bearded men in flannel shirts do in the Pacific Northwest? Well, logging has an entirely different meaning across the Atlantic, where British tourists have taken to defecating in the swimming pools of hotels at popular holiday destinations in Turkey, Greece, Spain and Egypt. This new form of logging has caused thousands to contract diarrhea and other illnesses.

Tour operators are referring to logging incidents as “code browns.” The culprits are believed to be British teenagers, students and “boozed up” adults on vacation.

Travel law expert Nick Harris called the craze “worrying,” and told the Daily Mail that his firm has dealt with hundreds of cases of people falling seriously ill as a result of logging. “Some idiots think it is humorous to deliberately poo in a crowded pool and then sit back and watch the carnage unfold as people try to escape the pool like a panic scene from the film Jaws,” Harris explained.

The Holiday Village Red Sea, a First Choice hotel in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, issued a letter warning guests that they will be evicted and fined $2,336 if they are caught pooping in the pool. The pool at Holiday Village Turkey, a First Choice hotel in Sarigerme, Turkey, has been closed multiple times over the past few weeks due to logging. A spokeswoman for First Choice said the incidents are beyond the company’s control.

One of the dudes fighting over it did not take a bite of the Baby Ruth. The actor Bill Murray, who played the maintenance man at the golf course, was in the pool to get rid of the "mess". He finds the Baby Ruth and takes a bite out of it causing the woman to faint.

For some seaon on ready this actical I immeidately wondered if the individual pooped directly in the pool, or brought it along and "slid" the bad boy in when no one was looking.

If you look at the mentioned hotel on tripadvisor there are reports of this happening.

Really? You expect us to believe there have been "hundreds of cases of people falling seriously ill as a result of logging"? Don't be absurd. The Daily Mail isn't too far removed from the National Enquirer. They essentially made the story up, probably after a single incident.
