Did A Cracked Window Help A Celebrity Out of the Closet?

Thomas Wesley Pentz (read: Diplo) chronicled his latest flight misadventure on an Instagram post, en route to scheduled performances in Ohio and Minnesota. Diplo’s private jet had visible cracks webbing across the window and the pilots can be seen wearing oxygen masks mid-flight.
In the face of a life-and-death situation, the resident DJ at Las Vegas’ XS Nightclub, Intrigue Nightclub, and Encore Beach Club, remained surprisingly calm.
While most people might start panicking, Diplo meditated in the back with a bowl of Ghirardelli squares at his disposable. (Maybe, this was actually an ad for Ghirardelli’s?) Getting stress munchies is a possibility too.
“Dear Colombus[ and Minneapolis, my jet window just cracked open and the pilots are wearing masks so not sure ill make my shows tonight but they left the wifi on so I’m just going to sit in the back and smoke toad venom and Vlog. I just bought this cool vest in Dallas at a thrift store ….. Also i never told you this but I might by gay…” he captioned on his post.
Followed by an update: “Update : we landed and no one died I still might be gay but I’m definitely not going to tye die anymore jets..” (oh yeah, he tie-dyed his private jet)
Thankfully, everyone on board landed safely.
With that said, his “final confessions” has the internet wondering – how much of it is true? Queerty notes that it may be a nod to the 2000 cult classic film Almost Famous. The bandmates fear that their plane is about to crash, so everyone spills their secrets and one drummer blurts out, “I’m gay!”
Regardless, we’re glad no one was harmed. Except whatever that toad venom is…

Unless I misread the article, where was the life-or-death situation? A cracked or even missing windscreen is hardly life-threatening.
It sounds like a joke related to "bought this cool vest in Dallas at a thrift store."
