Dine Inside A Comic Book at This Korean Cafe

South Korea is famous for its great food, beauty products and now a more surreal reason to visit: Cafe Yeonnam-dong 239-20 in Seoul.

This cafe serves the usual cafe fare–coffee and pastries–but with a black and white line-drawing design scheme that creates an optical illusion that makes you feel like you’re inside a two-dimensional cartoon.

The design scheme was inspired by the hit Korean TV show W where real characters and cartoon characters coexist.

In fact, if you do plan on visiting, it’s a good idea to get there earlier in the day rather than later. This spot is so popular that they’ve been known to close early when they run out of coffee!
