Delta Wins Big With New Ranking

New numbers show Delta Air Lines has now passed competitor United Airlines as the second largest airline in the U.S. In a statement released Monday, United said it recorded 208.6 billion passenger revenue miles in 2015, while a statement from Delta last week notes its numbers stood higher at 209.6 billion.

American Airlines has yet to release its traffic numbers for December, though reports claim it’s still in the lead since it had 204.7 billion revenue passenger miles on record as of November.
