Delta Unveils New Baggage-Tracking Technology

Delta Air Lines announced Thursday that it will soon debut a tracking service that uses paper tags with technology called radio frequency identification (RFID) to track passengers’ luggage. According to CNN, the technology, which involves an electronic device that reads each RFID tag to ensure that the correct bag is on the correct flight, will be utilized at 344 airports by the end of August.
