Delta Tests Complimentary Transcon Meals

Delta Air Lines is in the process of  performing a dry-run of  complimentary meal selections in the Main Cabin of Transcon flights traveling from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and San Francisco International Airport (SFO) in order to improve customer satisfaction with meals.

“We are constantly actively listening to our customers and employees, gathering their feedback and testing new products on board to continuously improve the overall experience,” said the airline’s Senior Vice President of In-Flight Service, Allison Ausband.

Test selections include a Honey Maple Breakfast Sandwich and a Luvo Breakfast Medley for morning flights. Afternoon flights feature a selection between the Mesquite-Smoked Turkey Combo with potato chips and a brownie bite on the side or the Luvo Mediterranean Whole Grain Veggie Wrap with a side of grapes and a cookie.
