Delta, Swiss Air to Operate New C Series Aircraft

Bombardier’s new C-Series CS-100 is taking to the skies at the Farnborough Airshow via Swiss Air. The aircraft will also be flown by Delta Air Lines, as the carrier is reportedly set to purchase 75 of the aircraft type and optioning to buy 50 more. “We wanted people to feel good about flying the aircraft, ” Bombardier CEO Alain Bellemare told CNBC.

“The concept was to provide a bit more room for people in the middle seat and the good news is we only have one middle seat.”
