DEL to Limit Amount of Pre-Flight Drinks

In response to increasing occurrences of alcohol-fueled in-flight altercations, Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) has become the latest Indian airport to “ration” alcoholic beverages in pre-flight lounges. Passengers flying through the airport will be limited to three 45-milliliter shots of hard liquor, two glasses of wine, or three pints of beer. Similar alcohol regulations have been implemented at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (BOM) in Mumbai, and there are plans to spread the limitations to Chennai International Airport (MAA) and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport (CCU) at some point in the future.

All I can say is HO HO HO! They should actually limit drinks on their flights as well or maybe just make people pay an exorbitant amount for alcoholic drinks on board.
