Credit Cards That Get You Into Priority Pass Lounges

Priority Pass lounges are nice, but they aren’t up there with Centurion Lounges. In other words, getting access to them may not be worth picking up a new credit card. But what if you pick up a credit card with other perks that also happens to have Priority Pass Select membership? You may even already have a credit card that offers this perk. Regardless, when you’re stuck at an overcrowded airport, you’ll appreciate this benefit much more. Below are credit cards that get you access to Priority Pass lounges:

Citi Prestige

The Citi Prestige Card has undergone several changes recently, but it still retains a place in my wallet. The card offers a $250 travel credit every year (none of that choose-an-airline nonsense), complimentary 4th night free on ThankYou travel booking twice a year, global entry application fee credit and TONS of useful category bonuses: 5x on air travel and restaurants, 3x at hotels and cruise lines, and 1x everywhere else. Plus, you’ll get Priority Pass Select membership. It almost takes the sting out of that $495 annual fee.

Chase Sapphire Reserve

I don’t recall any other credit card causing a feeding frenzy quite like the Chase Sapphire Reserve. It really is a terrific card, offering incredible perks like a $300 annual travel credit, 3x on travel and dining, $100 Global Entry fee credit every four years, a 50% Ultimate Rewards Travel redemption bonus, and Priority Pass Select membership.

Platinum Cards From American Express

The American Express Platinum Cards were ahead of the game as far as premium travel credit cards go. Recently, they’ve been overshadowed by some of the other cards on this list (namely, the Chase Sapphire Reserve). However, if you like the many benefits offered by the card and don’t mind the annual fees, it’s a good option for those looking to get Priority Pass Select membership.

Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: No other hotel credit card comes even close to competing with the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card. The Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card is several notches above the rest, with its premium offerings. Yes, it has a $450 annual fee but that’s easily justified considering cardholders get FREE Diamond status (no spending requirements), a $250 Hilton resort statement credit, $100 credit on 2-night bookings, and insane category bonuses (14x at Hilton; 7x on dining, car rentals, direct flight bookings; 3x everywhere else). You really do get treated like an elite with this card and that extends to Priority Pass Select membership.

United MileagePlus Club Card by Chase

The United MileagePlus Club Card has lost some of its appeal now that United is switching to a dynamic award structure. However, if you intend to redeem miles with partner airlines, you’ll appreciate being able to earn 1.5 miles per $1 spent through the United MileagePlus Club Card. Free United Club membership (a $550 value), Here President’s Circle status, and Priority Pass Select membership make the $450 annual fee a little more palatable.

Hilton Honors American Express Ascend Card

Hilton provides great value, even to their mid-tier credit cardholders. The Hilton Honors American Express Ascend Card is a prime example. The $95 annual fee gets cardholders free Hilton Gold elite status, generous category bonuses (12x at Hilton; 6x on dining, gas and U.S. supermarkets; 3x everywhere else), and a weekend night reward after $15,000 spent in a calendar year. Additionally, cardholders get 10 complimentary Priority Pass lounge visits.

Do you have any of these credit cards that offer Priority Pass lounge access? How much of a factor is this benefit in your decision to renew every year?

I was wondering that too. I recently was about to get that card before I decided to switch to Amex, and don't remember it offering Priority Pass.
