Coyote Wanders Into Airport, Approaches TSA

A coyote made its way into a terminal building at Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) Tuesday, surprising flyers and airport employees alike as it ran toward a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoint. “I thought it was a German shepherd and maybe it got away from its handler,” one passenger told The Sun News.

The animal was reportedly caught before it could get past security or come into contact with any civilians.

“It did not get through the security checkpoint, so the TSA is doing a fantastic job of stopping anybody without ID or boarding passes,” Kirk Lovell, MYR spokesman, told Reuters. No flights were affected by the incident.

He was probably tired of hanging out with the riffraff and wanted to get away from them.
