Cockpit Fistfight Grounds Iraqi Airways Flight

Two airline employees have been suspended by Iraqi Airways after an alleged altercation between two pilots, and the carrier claims that the two will face strict punishment in relation to the incident, including a potential lifetime ban from flying.

In a letter to Iraqi Airways’ management, one of the copilots gave his account of the incident, saying that “Conversation with the pilot became heated because he forbade an air hostess from bringing me a meal tray, under the pretext that I hadn’t asked him for authorisation.”
