China Eastern Flight Veers off Wet Runway

On Wednesday, a flight operated by China Eastern Airlines slid off of the runway at Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) amid torrential rainfall that has battered the city, resulting in school closures and traffic disruptions.

No injuries were reported by any of the 141 passengers aboard the flight, although two passengers were taken to North Lantau Hospital after claiming to feel unwell after the incident.
