On Wednesday, the Chicago Department of Aviation admitted that security personnel employed by the group have until now been incorrectly designated as police officers due to erroneous uniform markings, and the organization committed to fully removing the misleading insignia in the next few months. This announcement comes on the heels of the well-publicized and violent removal of Dr. David Dao from a United Airlines flight by security personnel.

“Really, it should be law enforcement that is boarding a plane in most situations,” said Laura Huffman, spokesperson for the organization. “There perhaps was some internal confusion of roles […] and we want to be clear to the public.”

    No, “flex scheduling” will not save United. The problem is how they treat customers. I will continue to boycott United.
