Photos have recently surfaced of an Air Namibia passenger aircraft that was reportedly struck by a bird upon landing at Hosea Kutako International Airport (WDH) and left a hole on the underside of the Airbus A319’s cabin last Thursday. An airline spokesperson said, “A big bird hit one of our four A319-100 aircraft that services our regional routes just when it was about to land.”

No injuries among the 112 passengers onboard were reported and engineers were flown out to repair the aircraft.

What kind of bird was this? A pterodactyl? Seems reminiscent of Jurassic Park or something. But at least they landed without further incident.
