Carriers Slow to Advance Tech After MH370 Crash

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) addressed alleged gaps in safety technologies on Wednesday, claiming safety standards have been too slow to evolve since the Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 crash nearly two years ago. “We are concerned about the slow pace of progress at both the national and international levels,” said Chris Hart, chairman of the U.S. National Safety Transportation Board.
