Car Strikes Hotel, Hotel Collapses

On Saturday, the MS Hotel in Indore, India collapsed after a a driver crashed their car into a ground-floor support pillar, resulting in the deaths of 10 people and leaving about half a dozen possibly caught beneath the rubble. Over the weekend, rescue teams dug through the wreckage in search of survivors.

According to reports, the building was relatively dilapidated at the time of the catastrophe, and in such a state of disrepair as to be brought down by a single car crashing into the pillar.
