British Airways Updates Their Upgrade Policy
In an update to the carrier’s erstwhile policy of knocking passengers out of the running for seating upgrades if they order a special meal due to the logistical difficulties, the carrier is allegedly planning to cease taking meal choices into account while considering passengers for upgrades, according to an article on Turning Left For Less.
The writer promised an upcoming article that will elaborate on further changes planned by the British flag carrier.

I find people are paying for business class, which doesn't leave many seats for upgrades. Airlines have offered upgrades for years, and now the hard product is much better and worth the increased fare compared to seats that were a little wider and reclined a few inches and required you to sleep in the seated position.
everyone is trying to upgrade. No one wants to pay for business class anymore.
About time too. They have had this policy, which is bordering on religious discrimination since it affects people that ordered meals for religious reasons, for decades.
Could you please change the article to Turning Left for Less as that is the correct name for my blog but thanks for the mention! 😀
