5 Shot and Killed at FLL

Five people were shot and killed at Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport (FLL) on Friday by suspected gunman Esteban Santiago of New Jersey, who is currently in police custody after surrendering. Airport officials claimed via Twitter that the incident took place in the baggage claim area of Terminal 2, and 13 total people were shot overall.

“We still have people fighting for their lives in the hospital,” said Florida Governor Rick Scott.
