Flights to Istanbul Canceled Due to Coup

All flights to and from Istanbul Atatürk Airport (IST) are canceled due to an ongoing alleged coup d’état by a Turkish military group. Tanks have been reported to be stationed outside the airport and gunfire has allegedly been heard outside Istanbul police headquarters, and the military group claims to have taken control of the country. Prime Minister Binali Yildirim has denounced this “illegal action,” claiming that the current government still remains in charge.
