Booted Jetstar Passengers Were Allegedly Drunk, Fighting

The pilots of a Thailand-bound Jetstar flight were forced to make an overnight landing in Bali after a fight allegedly erupted between six passengers. Jetstar confirmed that “a group of six passengers travelling together were being extremely disruptive amongst themselves and refused requests from our crew.” Indonesian police detained the six passengers once the plane touched down, and several of those arrested were drunk at the time of the incident. “We take safety and security seriously and we don’t tolerate disruptive behavior by passengers on our flights,” said a spokesperson for Jetstar.
