Boeing Temporarily Halts 737 MAX Test Flights

Just days before Boeing’s scheduled delivery of the first of its new 737 MAX aircraft to customers, the aircraft manufacturer has announced that test flights of its new 737 MAX aircraft will cease temporarily, citing possible issues related to turbine engine discs. Boeing stressed that plans to deliver the new jets later this month will proceed as scheduled. Carriers that have purchased the 737 MAX jets include American Airlines, SpiceJet and Southwest Airlines.
