Boeing Sells 20 Dreamliners to Small Vietnamese Start-Up

On Monday, aircraft manufacturer Boeing released a joint statement with Vietnamese airline start-up Bamboo Airways revealing that a $5.6 billion deal has been reached between the two companies for the sale of 20 Dreamliner jets.

“The deal with Boeing today is only the first step for us. We want to have more than 100 planes in the future,” said Trinh Van ­Quyet, chairman of FTC Group, Bamboo Airways’ parent company.
