Boeing Delivered 73 Aircraft in June

In June, Boeing delivered 73 commercial aircraft to 32 different airlines and nine lessors, marking the aircraft manufacturer’s biggest delivery month in 2016. Five new aircraft were added to China’s Xiamen Airlines, rounding out its all-Boeing fleet, and Air Lease Corp. (ALC) received five aircraft, including three 737-800s, one 777-300ER and an 787-9 Dreamliner, which will be leased to China’s Hainan Airlines. Boeing finalized orders for 10 commercial aircraft from three customers in June, totaling nearly $1.8 billion at current list prices. Thus far for 2016, Boeing’s gross order total for commercial aircraft is 285 aircraft, valued at approximately $36.3 billion.
