Body Found in Vegas Hotel Laundry Chute

Twenty-six-year-old Kalli Medina-Brown was found over the weekend in the laundry chute of downtown Las Vegas hotel-casino The D Las Vegas. Officer Michael Rodriguez told The New York Post that homicide detectives were called in to investigate the hotel-casino Sunday morning, adding that the case is being investigated as a suspicious death. Hotel spokesperson Lorena Amaya called the death unfortunate but declined to comment on the ongoing investigation. The D Las Vegas is reported to be cooperating with the authorities.
