Baby Delivered Aboard Air France Flight

On December 17, a baby was delivered aboard an Air France flight from India to the United States by 27-year-old doctor Sij Hemal after flight attendants frantically inquired about any doctors that may be on board.

“I was relaxed because I knew I was in safe hands,” said new mother Toyin Ogundipe. “They did everything a doctor or midwife would have done if I was in the labor room in the hospital. Even better, if you ask me.”
